About our qualification process
At Foster Care Help Inc., we believe that every foster care family and child in foster care deserves the best possible support. The best way to honor those who donate items for foster care is for us to be very responsible with their gifts. We understand that donors could have chosen to give their items anywhere, and they specifically selected Foster Care Help.
Due to often having limited resources, it is crucial for us to ensure that all donated items for foster care are distributed responsibly. Our foster care qualification process is straightforward and typically quick.
To get you qualified for FREE items, we must:
1) Verify that your Ohio foster care license is active.
2) Confirm that you have, or will have, a child placement.
It's that easy!
Please note that the verification process can take as little as 1 hour, but may also extend to several days depending on our staffing levels and the response time from the State of Ohio or your social worker's ability to confirm your child placement.
**If you are in an EMERGENCY situation, please email us at hello@fostercarehelp.com. In certain cases, we can temporarily bypass the full verification process with basic verification, providing you with one-time temporary assistance.
